kore wa haiku ja nai. genki desu ka. (this is not haiku) (is it okay?)
no opposition? great! i'll take the silence as a yes. here it goes.
-the journey-
i'm a turtle i hide in a shell i know i'll get there i know i'll get there in a turtle soup at the lodger's inn or the mighty Lion's den i know i'll get there i know i'll get there
another:
-wisdom-
a thousand thoughts race through my mind mere curiosities...valid questions...are they? or does the answer lie in Ritalin?
and yet another:
-scarlet letter-
i've no fear but uncertainty which covers everything like the blanket blue that dawns in the morning dew but metamorphoses into the vast black sprinkled with a thousand twinkles it's in the absence of a thousand twinkles that i'd much rather go through my scarlet letter once and for all then shame will be no more.
[ping] is the old blog for an internet show/podcast that streams live on Tuesday afternoons from 4 - 5 EST. The show exists (ostensibly) to promote the radio program on which we work, Steve Brown Etc. Truth be told, it's much more than that to us (and a lot less to others).
Click here for the live stream Tues. 4 - 5 PM EST & bounce back the [ping] by calling in toll-free during the program... 1.888.547.8383.

ancient wisdom
inviting inspiring thought
timeless endless visions
and... In this corner... In the Strong Bad costume
#2.
gamboling sweet lamb
spring heralds your playful life
with mint sauce divine
You make the call...

Excellent work, Chad-san. The circle is complete, the student has become the master.

preacher inspired me
not here for competition
in this together
to be real haiku
the subject must be nature
not velvet Elvis
I know that jeff-jeff.
do not ruin the fun-fun.
Elvis died in Spring.
(-: Better, Jeff? (just kiddin' bout ruinin' the fun.
Hey Chad, is that punk faux haiku ala Matthew Porter?
forgive my brother
Elvis was created, yes?
nature, then, he is.
Elvis the Pelvis
Grew a big fat gluteus
And he died on it
Zeke has much wisdom
discerning the king's demise
viva Las Vegas
Chad's is still the best
used a six syllable word
most impressive skill
My understanding
Is that seasons are the key
That unlocks haiku
e.
You got it, Erick
now that summer is over
autumn haikus rule
The toilet is flushed
Everybody let us rock
Consider me wiped
Talented brothers
This entertainment is grand
I laughed until blue
flusha-ughathump
an onomatopoeia
this life, the King leaves
to impress the girls
is why i compose haiku
look here, look at me!
girls it is dorsey?
this leads me to confusion
so you have switched teams?
...couldn't resist, bro... LOL
OUCH, my brother Zeke
that one cut me to the quick
OK...yes...I switched.
:-D
Dorsey made the switch?
No more putting from the rough?
Positively grand!
Chad,
Wanted you to know
'reactionary jack-hole'
is my new pet phrase...
(it's way more colorful than 'dillhole'... ;-)
this is a problem
since we started doing this
i dream in haiku
Jeff,
glad I could help you
always wanted to create
a catch-phrase! woo-hoo!
