raw spirituality
I recommend it.

Haiku Smack Down. Who will win who will fall who will tap out crying UNCLE

The this corner
#1.
ancient wisdom
inviting inspiring thought
timeless endless visions

and... In this corner... In the Strong Bad costume

#2.
gamboling sweet lamb
spring heralds your playful life
with mint sauce divine

You make the call...

kore wa haiku ja nai.
genki desu ka.
(this is not haiku)
(is it okay?)

no opposition? great! i'll take the silence as a yes. here it goes.

-the journey-

i'm a turtle
i hide in a shell
i know i'll get there
i know i'll get there
in a turtle soup
at the lodger's inn
or the mighty Lion's den
i know i'll get there
i know i'll get there

another:

-wisdom-

a thousand thoughts race through my mind
mere curiosities...valid questions...are they?
or does the answer lie in Ritalin?

and yet another:

-scarlet letter-

i've no fear but uncertainty
which covers everything like the blanket blue
that dawns in the morning dew
but metamorphoses into the vast black
sprinkled with a thousand twinkles
it's in the absence of a thousand twinkles
that i'd much rather go through my scarlet letter
once and for all
then shame will be no more.
