Bizarre - [Etcetera]

Matt says this one was the weirdest ever.
I don’t know about anybody else, but I had a blast. Take a listen and let us know what you think. Subscribe to the podcast so you don’t miss it if it gets weirder.

Two new Matts? Has anybody calculated how many Matts, Jeffs (Geoffs) and Gordons are in the stream? Spooky!

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys! Eric wasn't the only one who had a blast.

If another dorsey shows up, I'm going to be a little freaked out. He'll probably be Canadian.

Matt thought the show was weird? How can you tell? I had an enormous time.

And did you HEAR? Sharon Barbour laughed at my post! SHARON LIKED MY POST!!!!

Ah, it was so nice to hear Cathy back on the show. It's been too long. Good stuff.

Holy Cow!!! It was so fun! I'm thinking of taking a full hour for lunch just to hang out! Although it's tough to get a word in edge-wise with you guys! And Sharon, you're still my fav, and a toque / Took is a hat with a pom-pom on the top...not a plaid shirt :) But you're still my fav. And I got my "Perform Monkey"!!! And Goulet to Matt from New Jersey...though I think you're hoarding in on the moniker. Thanks for the link to my blog, but it really sucks...but there is a cool story there, and Sharon, a treat for you.

Oh Canada Matt, thanks for saying I'm your fav. (I'm batting my eyelashes at you even now) But I do have to say, i wasn't the one who thought a toque was a plaid shirt. I have no idea who came up with that. Being the big nerd I am, I thought it was simply Pippin the hobbit's last name. LOL.

And Dorsey, that pic is utterly fantabulous...ROFL. How 007 of you... : )

It's always great to hear from you guys. Thanks for calling in. You made it so fun.

Yo Matt (Canada). Sorry it's so hard to get in on the conversation. Sometimes it flows and sometimes it's chaos. It's hard to jump in when you're on the phone too. Hell...it's hard to jump in when you're in the studio. Plus I keep hanging up on people. We'll keep tweaking it.

Anyway, it was cool to get a chance to talk to you. I went to your blog and that story about playing with U2 is amazing. Is that picture for real? You mentioned having a recording. I'd love to hear that.

Oh Yeah, Dorsey, well who did Sharon say has a sexy voice...OK fine, she said I had a nice voice, but I know what she was thinking. (Just kidding Sharon ;-P)

Where does the "original Matt from New Jersey" live? I'm from "South Jersey", if that helps!

If I can figure out where everybody is, I'll create a map for easy reference! All we'll need is NJ, FL and "Canada" (wherever that is!)

WOW! My blog is in the list! I'm ferklempt! Talk amongst yourselves - I'll give you a topic... "Colossal Squid"

Let me be clear: 'fun' and 'bizarre' are not mutually exclusive. Not for us in the Etc. Universe anyway. Thanks everybody for calling in and contributing. What I feel from you guys, what I get from the show, is a sense of community, which is something I think everybody is looking for, even if they can't put the words to it. Keep on rockin' in the free world.

This show was great. Enjoyed it so much and the music was awesome. I have a question, though. Would it be possible to make the "virtual Sharon" sound bits downloadable. I would love to boot my computer and have it say "Perform Monkey!" when I log in. Imagine the possibilities.

Matt my Jersey friend..

I'm at exit 14A, right outside NYC..

Exit 4? You really are way down there man!! I didn't know civilization developed yet in that part of Jersey.. (kidding) :)

Let me guess.... you are a Philadelphia Eagles fan, and you absolutely despise the New York Giants, correct? North Jersey people (BENNY's) tick you off with their flippant attitude and their crazy driving? They should all just stay up near NYC and never leave where they're from... ;)

Just poking a little fun at ya my friend....

Nice meeting you..

gordon

Yes, we are Eagles fans (Isa 40:31), not Giants Fans (I Sam 17:51).

This may be hard to believe, but there is a small outpost of civilization here, cradled between Philladelphia and the Pine Barons. We are not all related. While we don't hate BENNYs, we do blame them for our ridiculous automobile insurance rates. Using Eric's Theorum of Relative Valuation, nobody must love driving more than we do, brother!

A good pic indeed, Jigs. But I like the one on your blog of your cut-and-stitched-up finger (not for the faint of heart, kids). Gnarly.

Greetings from Exit 2!

I detect a New Jersey faction developing...perhaps to counter the Canadia-centric leaning of the show? Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Being that NJ is already, ahem, "interesting", do you think it's a coincidence that some of it's finest call into a show like Etcetera?
