Sorry I had to leave early folkies, but I had to go help them carpenters! Good show! I'm heading out to get tickets for the cowboy flick now, if anyone wants some let me know...
Didn't get to say much, which is okay! I'm content to stand in the phone-booth just listening. Though I was hoping to ask Cathy where I can get more Skeeter Tunes!!! Must have them! And Erik, thanks so much for the inside track to old Etcetera. I've got them all, and I've almost been ohdeeing on them, but laughing my donkey off! Do they have titles, or just "June 23, 2004"? Oh man, Manatae eating, flaming e-mails, guest hosts..."SHARON!!!" It's fabulous, just fabulous! Ironically the show I listened to today was all about how the listeners should take over the show! But it was great you guys. You inspire me...nuff said!

You Pingers just plain rock. I look forward to your show every week, share laughs with you, and read your blog regularly. Erik, you are a great producer and host; Matt, you are a comedy god; Sharon, every time I hear "Perform, monkey!" I just crack up. Gordo, Kathy, all the callers, you are all great. If I left anyone out, it's just because I don't have time to make sure I mention everyone that I've enjoyed since I started listening to the show just a couple of months ago. With humilty ...the only thing you can never admit to having, because doing so would degate said having...I accept the award for newbie of october. Thanks much! BTW...listening to old shows, yesterday happened accross "Pick Your Brain"....a certain line from clueless and all of your reactions nearly got me in an accident! And Cathy, your dead-pan delivery of it was great!
So, why do you clear out demerging on a regular basis?
Blogging for me has been a bit of a journey. I don't mean to do it. It just happens... usually late at night... like an addict who flushes his drugs then later regrets it... or the 16-year-old boy who swears off pornography, only to find himself digging in the dumpster for one more look at Miss December...
Blogging had become a bit of an unhealthy addiction for me. It affected me emotionally. plus, I thought it was all fake. When I really quit (and I really meant it...) I began to find myself still searching the blogs, to see what everyone was up to. It was then that I saw the reality of some of these relationships within the blog community.
So, I have returned, like the prodigal son, humbled at the reception I have received, and swearing that I will never quit again (so long as I don't get nicknamed 'jeffhole'... :( )

Well Jeff, I think you're gonna just have to call into the show more frequently, and your nickname will simply come into existence, just as Fancy Geoff did, and then regular Jeff in response to that. It'll just arrive someday, I promise...
And when it does, of course you'll love it. : )
