Another great show, guys. It occurred to me that you're the Seinfeld of podcasting. I can't really tell you what the show was about, but I'm nevertheless holding my stomach, on the floor in a puddle of my own urine. Funny stuff.

Okay... now I'm at the end of the podcast and I must say I'm pissed!
Last night, I downloaded the entire 1st season of Lost on iTunes, in the hopes of enjoying a wonderful show...
Now, that i have all 25 episodes on my new video ipod, I'm hoping the show won't suck!
I guess at least i won't have to deal with the cliffhangers bacause I'm only 31 or 32 episodes behind.
Oh, and Erik... I don't think you're cool at all. Feel better?

Don't get me wrong...Lost most definitely does not suck. You'll love it. It's a great show. I just hate it when I feel like they're screwing with me for the fun of it.
There's no need to be pissed...you chose wisely.

Yeah. I'm a bass player so I am most definitely cool. It's a lot harder to be cool than most people think, really... lots of dark clothes and plenty of sunglasses.
My wife's been watching 'Lost' since it started. She likes it. I just always seem to get hung up on shows like '24' or 'Prison break' or whatever, where each week is a cliffhanger... each week more annoying than the last.
At least this way, I won't have to wait a week.
lost is awesome. yeah, there are cliffhangers, but they definitely make you tune in to the next episode. which will be easy for you, you won't have to wait a week (or whole summer) to find out what happens next.

i perused your bass blog. i would've posted this on that blog, but it wouldn't allow anonymous posts, and i refuse to sign up to blogspot, just as a matter of principle. i've actually tried a few different times, but for some reason, it never went through. and now i won't do it, just out of spite...but anyways....
i really liked the post about how the bass must be fluent in the various musical languages, linking them all together. that's very much how i see the bass and i try to perform that function in my playing. it's nice to know others out there understand the subtle complexities of bass and appreciate it.
as for the etc. show...funny stuff!
