Dudes. If you make it into Mensa, I'll teach you the secret handshake! Just kidding. I'm not in Mensa. I did, however, date someone once upon a time who took the Mensa test. I was up all night with a medical problem that required him to take me to the emergency room until 6 am. The test was at 8. He failed and ruined his once chance to get in. I was sorry at the time, but now I'm glad because he was a fuckwit. So there.

Good luck on the test!

I like the other profound C.S Lewis quote, "Everything in this room is *eat*able. Even I'm *eat*able. But that is called cannibalism, my dear children, and is in fact frowned upon in most societies."

Wasn't that in The Screwtape Letters?

All is forgiven, Sharon. And just so you'll know, I've been searching for a good ringer for my new Razr phone, and I decided on Smashing Pumpkins' "Today is the best day..."

Thanks!

NJ Gordon, I'm curoius. Have you ever used that CS Lewis quote in conversation? Could you deliver it with a straight face? What was the response?

Sharon, Golly! Thanks for the warm welcome.

Y'all have active commenters. I have commenter-envy. I shall live vicariously through your comments.

Maybe I'll go comment on my own blog to bump up the comment tally on each post. Think anyone would notice? I could come up with 25 blogger identities and get a real good conversation going. Is that cheating?

And you're so not going to believe this, but the Word Verification doo hickey on this post is making me type "Mensa." weird.
