Good show today even if all the Lost talk did sound like grownups in Peanuts. (I know it's a good show but I've followed several series 'religiously' over the years and I prefer more self-contained TV right now (Scrubs, House, Arrested Development.) Although I am a Battlestar Galactica addict.
Someday after I get married (knock on wood) and I have someone to share good TV series with I'll happy to dive headfirst into a 24 or Lost. They both seem far more satisfying than the meta-story-arc of X-Files, which was a great show for a long time but they didn't have a plan for where it was all going which became painfully obvious the last two seasons.

Funny, Andrew... my wife and I share a passion for 24, but she doesn't want anything to do with Lost (curiously) or BSG (no surprise there). Me, I'm such a BSG and Lost dork that I listen to the producers' podcasts.

My must-see tv addictions are few and eclectic. Waaaay back in the day when I was but a wee lad, I watched Star Trek the Next Generation every Saturday night. Again, this may have had something to do with Lt. Tasha Yar. And David Lynch's 'Twin Peaks' had me hooked from start to finish.

Anybody else have a roster of appointment television?

Geez Erik, that was as credible a theory as I've heard. I almost wish I hadn't seen it... I like being in the dark and just enjoying each episode.

Definitely among the most creative work on television.

I downloaded the podcast. When I heard the lounge music I got so excited I went out and bought a matching velvet fusia leisure suit with turquoise trim and forgot to listen to the rest!

But I'm warm :)
