Mini-Me in South Africa - [F'ing Andrew]

Dateline: Johannesburg

The little guy hitched a ride with my girlfriend Holly, her family and me to the rhino and lion park near town. We drove our car quite close to lions, ostriches, wild dogs, warthogs and other wild beasts. After lunch we walked over to a set of pens where for a few dollars you can spend five minutes with a handler petting cubs being raised for various reserves and zoos. There were cheetah, tigers and lions. I pulled out the camera when Mini-Me started gathering his courage to face both year-old lion cubs up close.





He survived by not making any sudden movements.






He may have gathered their trust but it was a crushing blow when the guide informed us that no amount of training would allow him to saddle and ride these cats. He and Mini Mr. Bigglesworth will have to find another steed for their adventures.
