About [ping] & Etcetera
[ping] is the old blog for an internet show/podcast that streams live on Tuesday afternoons from 4 - 5 EST. The show exists (ostensibly) to promote the radio program on which we work, Steve Brown Etc. Truth be told, it's much more than that to us (and a lot less to others).

Great show. It's a tit.
By the way, if you're fed up with the RIAA, back those who are doing something about defending the rights of artists and consumers--the Electronic Frontier Foundation (www.eff.org). These guys are the real deal, with the nuggets to take the big boys to court and the smarts to win.
They're also a great resource for what you can and can't do legally on a blog, podcast, etc.
Rather than spend $15 on an RIAA-sanctioned album, send it to these guys. They're the tip of the spear in the war against these corporate bozos.
I like the Philadelphia/Shane Claiborne field trip idea. Somebody follow up on that.
