[ping] is the old blog for an internet show/podcast that streams live on Tuesday afternoons from 4 - 5 EST. The show exists (ostensibly) to promote the radio program on which we work, Steve Brown Etc. Truth be told, it's much more than that to us (and a lot less to others).

geez. i'm at fuppin work and I'm laughing like a school girl and like...i'm not even a girl. youze guyz are bedonkulous. Hey, where can I find the episode with Wayne's son? Is that somewhere lurking in the archive closet? By the by I never knew anyone growing up who bought into the My Buddy fauxnomenon. Which is probably why they are only fetching 20 bucks on ebay right now. But what do I know? I drink Breakfast Blend sans cream.

BTW - I just got home from Orlando. Long story-short: sleeping in airports ain't nearly as fun as they make it out to be on "The Amazing Race".

ok so I listened to the AP show and I can't tell what it is she said. Does anyone want to clue me in? I must know. WHy? Why not would be the better question.

Of course, I've heard several more bleeps since that show from Sharon - though these were just names she can't say on air.
Sharon, since this is a bit of a ribbing to you, let me share something for you and your buddy
it was titled 2 legged stool sample and it was from october 3 2006. I guesse I wasn't listening back then, i was wollowing in my sin. I don't seem to be able to listen to it now though, itunes only has the last 3 shows up, is there a way i can get to hear that one, it really has my curiosity peaked after wayne called in and brought it up. todays show was great, i have caught myself accually laughing out loud at work the last several shows now keep up the good work.
sorry, i didn't realize wayne put all that up here, it would have saved me having to search through all those archives, but i still can't find out how to listen to it.
I have never been to starbucks i don't know the rules and it is intimidating and now that erik has shared his experiences i think i'll continue to stay away. i did finally get up the nerve to go into einstein, and got pretty comfortable there after a while. maybe i could learn to be comfortable in a starbucks too?

The archived MP3 starts playing when I click on the "Click here for sucktasticnes" link. Not sure if this works for other people's browsers or not - I'm using Safari on a Mac, maybe PCs are different?
i just listened to this week's show, awesome btw, but back when i was sharing the clip with my cross country team i showed it to joey (our best runner) and his girlfriend jamie. you may find it funny that jamie is in AP, but not joey... hmmm...
Holy cow, I tried to call the other day on my way home. The whole time zones throw me off. I am in my truck (pre-Wednesday's wreck) wondering why no one will pick up. Today, I realize that 4-5 EST is 3-4 CST. I am such a moron. Oh well, I will have to figure out a way to call.

I am still using PC but I tried again to listen by clicking on the link in the archive but nothing happend. I guesse I will just have to trust that it was funny unless anyone has any other ideas.
