The views expressed are not necessarily the views of the hosts, guests, or producer. Whether they have views, what color and font those views are in, and what bean said views would be if said views were a bean is determined by the legal representation of Etcetera. Lent is a registered trademark of the Lord God. This segment may only be reproduced on Tuesdays with accepted deviation on a similar but equally futile theme. No stanza's were hurt in the making of these haikus. All complaints may be addressed by visiting this website and then staring blankly as if cool like that.
The Lent Limerick for Erik: We give up luxuries for lent cooking, scotch, smoke are all sent out of the door they are no more till Easter ends the torment
And The Ping Limerick: We all love the podcast of Ping But no recap song do they sing I cannot sing a note so this poem I wrote to recap the podcast of ping
I dont think giggles has much to worry about. It would probably spell the end of RIAA's lawsuits if they started taking autistic people to court. The public outcry would probably shut them down. Stick it to the man giggles, stick it to the man!
When I first saw the title of this episode (I'm a little behind on my podcast listening, what can I say?) all I could think of was Pink Floyd's "One of My Turns":
"Would you like to call the cops? Do you think it's time I stopped? Why are you running away?"
[ping] is the old blog for an internet show/podcast that streams live on Tuesday afternoons from 4 - 5 EST. The show exists (ostensibly) to promote the radio program on which we work, Steve Brown Etc. Truth be told, it's much more than that to us (and a lot less to others).
Click here for the live stream Tues. 4 - 5 PM EST & bounce back the [ping] by calling in toll-free during the program... 1.888.547.8383.

I'm sorry to tell you guys, but "Why Are You Runnying Away" is actually a song by a band called Hoobastank.
I hope I didn't burst any bubbles.

I personally like the special Autistic Acoustic version best.

Are you telling me that Giggles infringed on Hoobastank's copyright?
I doubt any lawyer could ever prove that performance was infringing on anybody’s anything.
It's an original "work of art" all it’s own.

PS. Re: Calling all Canadians, We'll be there!! :)
I cant get that why are you running away out of my head.
I love your show. Keep it up

"Would you like to call the cops?
Do you think it's time I stopped?
Why are you running away?"
But...yeah. Giggles' version is far catchier.
